Information we collect
The contact form collects your optional name, reply email address, subject, and message. The web server may log your IP address, access time, requested URL, referrer, browser, and operating system.
How we use information
We use this information to respond to messages, improve the service, investigate problems, prevent abuse, and understand general access trends.
Storage and delivery
Contact submissions are not stored in a site database. They are delivered to Google Gmail, which we use as the notification mailbox, and retained there for as long as needed to handle the request.
- To limit spam, the server may temporarily store an identifier generated from the sender IP address.
Sharing
We do not sell or disclose collected information to third parties without consent, except where required by law. Hosting and email providers process information only as needed to operate those services.
Cookies and analytics
Y-TEC Forge Analytics is designed to produce only the minimum statistics needed to improve the site, not to track individual visitors. We do not use advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies, visitor IDs, browser storage, or fingerprinting. We do not send analytics data to third-party services.
- We aggregate only the /forge/ portion of hosting access logs each day. The analytics database does not retain raw IP addresses, raw User-Agent strings, complete referrer URLs, URL query strings, or individual requests.
- We retain aggregate values such as page views, HTTP status, date, page, device category, browser/OS category, external referrer domain, and bot totals. We do not create visitor-count or return-visitor metrics. Daily aggregates are retained for 90 days and monthly aggregates for 24 months.
Access, correction, and deletion
Use the contact form to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your contact information. We may need to verify your identity.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be announced on the site.
